Morgan starred in Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS education and Prevention. A portion of the proceeds were donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She serves as a member on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the driving force behind numerous fund-raising efforts for this disease. She also spoke before a Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. She sits on the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada, has asked that she replace him for a number of AIDS associated events. In addition, she was the host of an AIDS Awareness Special alongside Steve Bell. Morgan has been on Nightline with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan was nominated to win an Emmy for her special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. Morgan co-starred on ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife in springtime with Joan Rivers. The summer started with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. It was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner, and also included Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. Then, she was transported to Luxembourg for the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan also appeared in the psycho thriller made by USA Network. The film garnered one of its greatest ratings of all time.
